Bridging instruments and expression across sound, visuals, code and hardware.

An artist who creates music, real-time generative visuals, and the very tools that bring them into being. His strength is multimedia expression that grows out of his own instruments: composing music, building computationally generated visuals, and designing the systems that drive them. He crafts visuals with simple yet powerful motion, paired with melodic, warm sound.

He performs as a solo A/V live act and as a VJ at clubs including WOMB, ZEROTOKYO, clubasia and CIRCUS TOKYO. He directs live visuals for artists such as Tsujii Qunuee and handles staging and technical support for events both physical and virtual.
Selected for Japanese Motion Graphic Creators 2026.
Alongside releasing music as monoton, he is a member of the artist collective Philtz.

He runs the design studio monode-sign as a place to bring the tools born from his own practice to other makers, planning and building Eurorack modules and software for visual production.

In the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), he researches interfaces that support and widen a maker's expression by having people and computers create together, each shaping the other.
