TouchDesignerではじめる空間演出:クリエイターから学ぶリアルタイム映像表現
ワテラスコモンホール (Tokyo, Japan)
Hands-on Instructor

monoton / Haruma Tasaki led a session titled "Let's Make a Particle Animation! A Beginner's Guide to TouchDesigner" at "Getting Started with Spatial Direction in TouchDesigner: Learning Real-Time Visual Expression from Creators," a seminar hosted by Born Digital, Inc. at Waterras Common Hall.
The hands-on session was designed so that attendees who had never opened TouchDesigner before could follow along on their own machines and reach a finished result within the session. Starting from an empty project, it ran as one continuous live build: audio spectrum analysis with CHOPs, point cloud generation and curl-noise-driven particles with POPs, real-time rendering with a camera and light, and post-processing with bloom and level adjustment.
Audio amplitude drove particle motion and scale, while particle age drove color through a gradient. Attendees could watch an image emerge just by connecting nodes, without writing a line of code.
